He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the St. Petersburg State Medical Academy, graduating with First Class Honors. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Safwan obtained his Jordan Medical Board Certification through the Royal Medical Services at King Hussein Medical Center and the Jordan Medical Council in Amman, Jordan.

Dr. Safwan pursued advanced studies in clinical dermatology, obtaining a Master of Science degree from King’s College, University of London. He further specialized in laser treatment of skin diseases, earning an additional Master of Science degree from St. John’s Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

His commitment to dermatopathology led him to complete a Clinical Fellowship at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, where he gained extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex skin conditions.
